Why is my Ford Focus making a clunking noise when I turn left?

I recently bought a used Ford Focus and noticed that whenever I turn left, there is a loud clunking noise coming from the front. It doesn't happen when I turn right. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

Hi Samantha, based on the description, it sounds like there may be an issue with your front suspension or axle. It's always best to get it checked out by a mechanic to be sure, as driving with a damaged suspension can be dangerous and cause further damage to your car.

Hey Samantha, I had the same issue with my Ford Focus and it turned out to be a faulty strut mount. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic to get it checked out, but it's usually not a major concern and can be fixed easily.

Hi Samantha, it's possible that your steering knuckle or ball joint may be damaged. I would suggest taking it to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the safety of your car.
