Why is my Ford Galaxy engine making a rattling noise?

I've noticed a rattling sound coming from under the hood of my Ford Galaxy. It seems to happen more frequently when I accelerate. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It could be an issue with your timing belt. I recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis. Don't try to fix it yourself as it could lead to more problems.

Make sure your oil levels are topped up and check for any loose components in the engine. If the problem persists, it's best to take it to a professional.

The rattling noise could be caused by a loose exhaust heat shield. This is a common issue on Ford cars and can easily be fixed by tightening or replacing the shield.
