I have a 2015 Ford Galaxy and recently it has been making a loud knocking noise while idling. It seems to go away when I accelerate, but returns when I come to a stop. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
ReplyIt sounds like your engine could be experiencing a misfire. This can often be caused by faulty spark plugs or ignition coils. I recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic to have it diagnosed and repaired.
Another possible cause could be low oil levels or dirty oil. Make sure to check your oil level and if it is low, top it off. If the oil is dirty, it may need to be changed. This could help reduce the knocking noise.
