I recently purchased a used Ford Mondeo and I've noticed that the engine shakes when I'm stopped at a red light or in traffic. It seems to run fine while driving, but the shaking is concerning. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
ReplyHi Melissa, the shaking at idle could be caused by a few different things. It could be an issue with the spark plugs, fuel injectors, or even the engine mounts. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a diagnostic and repair. They can easily pinpoint the issue and help you fix it.
Hi Melissa, I had a similar issue with my Ford Mondeo and it turned out to be a problem with the ignition coil. It was an easy fix and now my car runs smoothly at idle. I would suggest getting your ignition coil checked as well.
