Why is my Ford Puma engine making a knocking noise?

I've noticed a knocking noise coming from my Ford Puma's engine. It's been happening for a few weeks now and I'm not sure what's causing it. Any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

It's possible that the knocking noise is coming from the pistons in your engine. This can be caused by low oil levels or dirty oil. I would recommend checking your oil levels and getting an oil change to see if that helps.

Another possible cause of the knocking noise could be a faulty spark plug. I would suggest getting your spark plugs checked and replaced if necessary.

It could also be an issue with the timing belt. If it's worn or stretched, it can cause knocking noises in the engine. I would recommend getting it inspected and replaced if needed.
