Why is my Ford Puma's engine making a clicking noise?

I recently noticed a strange clicking noise coming from the engine of my Ford Puma. It seems to happen more when I accelerate or turn the steering wheel. What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

Hi Rebecca, the clicking noise could be indicative of a few different issues. It's best to take your car to a trusted mechanic and have them take a look. It could be something as simple as a loose belt or it could be a more serious engine problem. Better to be safe than sorry!

I had a similar issue with my Ford Puma and it turned out to be a faulty ignition coil. I would recommend getting it checked out sooner rather than later.

I had the same clicking noise in my Ford Puma and it ended up being a problem with the hydraulic lifters. I would suggest getting it checked out and possibly replacing them.
