Why is my Ford Ranger shaking while driving?

I recently purchased a Ford Ranger and have noticed that it shakes quite a bit while driving. It doesn't seem to be an issue with my tires or alignment, so I'm wondering what could be causing this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Sarah, it could be a number of things causing your truck to shake while driving. One common issue is warped brake rotors. I would recommend taking your truck to a mechanic to have them checked. They can also check the suspension and engine mounts for any issues.

My Ford Ranger had the same issue and it turned out to be a problem with the driveshaft. I would suggest getting that checked out.

I had a similar issue with my Ranger and it ended up being a loose wheel bearing. It's definitely worth having that checked as well.
