Why is my Ford Ranger stalling at low RPMs?

I have a 2010 Ford Ranger and recently it has been stalling when I come to a stop or when I am driving at low RPMs. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue? I have changed the spark plugs and air filter, but the problem persists. It seems to happen more often in hot weather, could it be an overheating issue?

It could be a problem with your fuel system. Check your fuel pump and fuel filter to make sure they are functioning properly. If they are, you may need to clean or replace your injectors.

Have you checked your idle control valve? This can sometimes cause stalling at low RPMs. It's worth taking a look at and possibly cleaning or replacing it.

I had the same issue with my Ford Ranger and it turned out to be a faulty camshaft position sensor. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix, I would check that next.
