Why is my Ford S-Max making a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently purchased a Ford S-Max and noticed that it has been making a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel. It sounds like a grinding or clicking sound and it only happens when I am turning. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

This strange noise could be caused by a number of issues, such as worn out steering components or a loose belt. It would be best to have a mechanic take a look at your car to properly diagnose the problem and offer a solution.

I had the same issue with my Ford S-Max and it turned out to be a loose bolt on the steering column. A quick tighten fixed the problem, but it's always best to have a professional confirm the cause of the noise.

I had a similar issue with my Ford S-Max and it was due to a worn out steering pump. I would highly recommend having a mechanic check the pump and replace it if necessary.
