Why is my Ford Transit Custom's engine making a strange ticking noise?

I have a 2019 Ford Transit Custom and recently I've noticed a strange ticking noise coming from the engine. It only occurs when the engine is running and seems to get louder when I accelerate. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

It's possible that there could be an issue with one of the valves in the engine. I would recommend taking it to a certified Ford mechanic to get it checked out and possibly have the valves adjusted.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Transit Custom and it turned out to be a loose spark plug. Make sure to check all the spark plugs and tighten them if necessary.
