Why is the ABS light on in my Ford Ranger?

I drive a Ford Ranger and recently the ABS light has come on. It's worrying me because I'm not sure what it means and whether it's safe to continue driving. Can someone explain why this is happening and offer any advice on what I should do?

Hi Sarah, the ABS light coming on in your Ford Ranger could mean that there is an issue with the anti-lock braking system. It's important to have this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.

I had the same issue with my Ford Ranger and it turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor. It's an easy fix and shouldn't be too expensive. Definitely take it to a mechanic to get it resolved.
