Why is the acceleration on my Ford Puma sluggish?

I recently purchased a Ford Puma and noticed that the acceleration is not as responsive as I would like. What could be causing this issue and how can I improve the acceleration without compromising fuel efficiency?

It is possible that your air filter is dirty and needs to be replaced. This can greatly affect the performance of your car. Try replacing it and see if there is any improvement in acceleration.

Another issue that could be causing sluggish acceleration is low transmission fluid. Check your transmission fluid level and if it is low, top it off or have it replaced to improve acceleration.

You may also want to consider getting a tune up for your Ford Puma. This can help improve engine performance and ultimately improve acceleration.
