Why is the Ford Fiesta losing power on long drives?

I've noticed that my Ford Fiesta starts to lose power after driving for a few hours on the highway. It feels like the engine is struggling and it becomes difficult to maintain speed. Is this a common issue with Ford cars? What could be causing this problem? How can I prevent it from happening again?

It could be an issue with the fuel filter or fuel pump. These components can become clogged over time and cause a decrease in power. I would recommend getting them checked and replaced if necessary.

Another possible cause could be a problem with the spark plugs or ignition coils. These parts are responsible for igniting the fuel and air mixture in the engine. If they are worn out or damaged, it can lead to a loss of power. I suggest getting them inspected and replaced if needed.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Fiesta and it turned out to be a problem with the air filter. It was clogged with dirt and debris, making it difficult for air to flow into the engine. This can cause a decrease in power. Check and replace your air filter if necessary.
