Why is the Ford Fiesta overheating?

I have a Ford Fiesta and recently noticed that the temperature gauge is getting too high. What could be causing this issue and how do I fix it?

First, check your coolant levels and make sure it is filled to the recommended level. If that is not the issue, it could be a problem with the radiator or a malfunctioning thermostat. It is important to get this fixed as soon as possible to avoid any further damage to your car.

Another common cause of overheating in Ford Fiestas is a faulty water pump. If your car is more than 5 years old, it is recommended to have the water pump replaced as preventative maintenance.

Make sure to also check your radiator fans. If they are not functioning properly, it can lead to overheating. You can test them by turning on your AC, as the fans should turn on automatically when the AC is on.
