Why is the Ford Mondeo not starting when the engine is hot?

I have a Ford Mondeo and I have noticed that when the engine is hot, it has trouble starting. It makes a clicking noise but won't turn over. What can be causing this and how can I fix it?

This is a common issue with Ford Mondeos and can be caused by a faulty starter motor or a weak battery. I recommend checking the battery first and if it is still in good condition, then it is most likely the starter motor. It's best to take it to a mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

I had the same problem with my Ford Mondeo and it turned out to be a failed ignition switch. This is an easy fix and can be done yourself if you have the right tools. You can find instructions online or take it to a mechanic if you're not confident.

If your Ford Mondeo isn't starting when the engine is hot, it could also be due to a clogged fuel filter. This is a simple repair that can be done at home. Just make sure to replace the filter regularly to prevent it from happening again.
