I have been experiencing a loud rattling noise coming from my Ford Puma's engine. It's been happening intermittently and I'm worried about the health of my car. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What could be causing it and how can I fix it?
ReplyThat rattling noise could be caused by a number of things. First, check your oil levels and make sure they are at the recommended level. Low oil can lead to engine noise. If that doesn't solve the issue, it could be caused by worn out or faulty engine components. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.
I had the same issue with my Ford Puma. Turned out it was due to a faulty timing belt tensioner. I got it replaced and the rattling noise disappeared. So definitely get your timing belt and other engine components checked.
