How do I change the brake pads on my Ford Kuga?

I have a 2010 Ford Kuga and I noticed that my brake pads are starting to wear out. How exactly do I change them out myself and what tools do I need? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

To change the brake pads on your Ford Kuga, you will need a few tools such as a jack, lug wrench, brake caliper tool, and some wrenches. First, make sure your car is on a flat surface and the emergency brake is engaged. Then, loosen the lug nuts on the wheel where you are changing the brake pads. Next, use the jack to raise the car and remove the wheel. You will then need to remove the brake caliper and replace the old brake pads with the new ones. Make sure to also change out the brake pad shims and apply some brake grease on the back of the new pads. After everything is secure, put the wheel back on and lower the car. Your new brake pads should now be installed!

I recommend getting a professional mechanic to change out the brake pads on your Ford Kuga. It may seem like a simple task, but if not done correctly, it can cause major issues with your braking system. It's always better to be safe than sorry!
