How to fix a faulty power window in a Ford S-Max?

I have a 2010 Ford S-Max and the power window on the driver's side has stopped working. How can I fix this issue myself without having to take it to a mechanic?

Hello Lila, this issue may be caused by a faulty power window switch. You can try replacing it yourself by purchasing a new one from a Ford dealership or online and following the instructions in your car's manual. If that does not solve the problem, it could be a wiring issue and I suggest taking it to a mechanic.

Hi Lila, another possible issue could be a blown fuse. Check your car's manual to locate the fuse for the power windows and see if it needs to be replaced. If the fuse is fine, it could be a motor or regulator problem and I recommend taking it to a mechanic for further assistance.
