How to fix a squeaking sound in my Ford Puma engine?

Every time I start my Ford Puma, there is a loud and annoying squeaking noise coming from the engine. I've tried checking the belts and pulleys but they seem to be in good condition. What could be causing this noise and is there a way to fix it?

It could be a problem with the alternator or the tensioner pulley. I would suggest taking your Ford Puma to a mechanic and having them take a look at it.

It could also be a sign of a loose or worn out fan belt. You can try tightening it or replacing it if necessary.

If the noise only occurs during cold starts, it could be due to a loose or worn out serpentine belt. Have it checked and replaced if needed.
