Is it necessary to change the transmission fluid on a Ford Mondeo?

I have a Ford Mondeo and I've been told by some people that I need to change the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles, while others say it only needs to be changed every 60,000 miles. Which is the correct interval and why?

For the Ford Mondeo, it is recommended to change the transmission fluid every 60,000 miles. This ensures that the transmission stays lubricated and prevents any potential damage.

I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and have worked on many Ford Mondeos. My advice is to change the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles. Keeping the transmission well-maintained will extend its lifespan and save you money in the long run.

I've owned a Ford Mondeo for 5 years and have never changed the transmission fluid. It has over 100,000 miles on it and the transmission is still running smoothly. In my opinion, as long as the fluid looks clean and the car is running well, there's no need to change it.
