Is it worth upgrading to the Ford Transit Custom's new diesel engine?

I've been driving a Ford Transit Custom for a few years now and I'm considering upgrading to the newer model. I've heard that the new diesel engine is more efficient, but is it worth the extra cost? Does anyone have experience with this?

Absolutely. The new diesel engine has a much better fuel economy and will save you money in the long run. Plus, it's more environmentally friendly.
