Is the Ford Fiesta a reliable car for long commutes?

I have been considering buying a Ford Fiesta for my daily commute to work. I typically drive about 50 miles each day and want to make sure it can handle the distance without any major issues. Can anyone share their experience with a Ford Fiesta's reliability for long commutes?
