Should I use synthetic or conventional oil for my Ford Puma?

I recently bought a Ford Puma and I'm wondering if I should be using synthetic or conventional oil for the best performance. I've heard conflicting opinions and I'm not sure what to do. Can you provide some advice?

It ultimately depends on your driving habits and the specific engine in your Ford Puma. Synthetic oil tends to perform better in extreme temperatures and under heavy loads, while conventional oil is usually fine for normal driving conditions. However, if you want to maximize the longevity and performance of your engine, I would recommend going with synthetic oil. It may be more expensive upfront, but it can save you money in the long run by reducing wear and tear on your engine.

As a mechanic who specializes in Ford vehicles, I would recommend sticking to the manufacturer's recommendations when it comes to oil type. Ford Puma engines are designed to work best with specific types of oil, so deviating from that could potentially cause issues. Check your owner's manual or consult with a Ford dealership to determine the best oil for your specific engine.

I have owned a Ford Puma for 5 years now and have always used synthetic oil. I have noticed a noticeable difference in performance and fuel efficiency compared to when I used conventional oil. While it may be more expensive, I believe it's worth it for the long-term benefits.
