What are the advantages of using a Ford S-Max for off-roading?

I am planning to take my Ford S-Max on an off-roading adventure but I have heard mixed opinions about its capabilities. Can someone please explain the pros and cons of using this car for off-roading?

As someone who has taken their Ford S-Max off-roading multiple times, I can say that it definitely has its advantages. The first and most important advantage is its high ground clearance, which allows it to tackle rough terrain without any issues. Additionally, the S-Max has excellent traction control and a durable suspension system, making it a reliable option for off-roading.

I have never had a good experience off-roading with a Ford S-Max. Its large size and heavy weight make it difficult to maneuver on challenging trails. Furthermore, the S-Max does not have a specialized off-roading mode, which can make it less capable in certain situations.
