What is the most reliable Ford Ranger engine for off-roading?

I'm interested in purchasing a Ford Ranger for off-roading purposes, but I'm not sure which engine is the most reliable for this type of activity. Any suggestions?

I personally recommend the 3.2L Diesel engine. It has excellent power and torque for off-roading and has proven to be very reliable.

I've had good experiences with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine. It offers plenty of power and efficiency for off-roading and is a great option for those looking for a smaller engine.

If you're really looking for power, I would go with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine. It might be a bit overkill for off-roading, but it's always nice to have that extra punch under the hood.
