Why does my Ford Focus make a rattling noise when I accelerate?

I have a 2015 Ford Focus and recently noticed a rattling noise when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine or the front of the car. Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It sounds like you may have a loose heat shield on your exhaust system. This is a common issue with Ford Focus cars and can easily be fixed by tightening the bolts or using a heat-resistant adhesive.

It could be a problem with your timing belt or tensioner. These should be checked and replaced if necessary by a certified mechanic.
