Why is my Ford Focus engine making a clicking noise?

I recently bought a used Ford Focus and have noticed that the engine makes a clicking noise when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It's important to have this noise checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible. It could be indicative of a more serious issue with your engine.

It might just be a loose belt causing the clicking noise. Have a mechanic take a look and tighten it if needed.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Focus and it turned out to be a faulty valve. Get a professional opinion to determine the exact cause.
