Why is my Ford Focus making a rattling noise while driving?

My Ford Focus has recently started making a rattling noise while driving. It seems to be coming from the front of the car and it gets louder when I accelerate. Can anyone give me insight on what might be causing this issue?

It sounds like you may have a loose or worn out belt in your engine. This could cause a rattling noise while driving.

You should check your exhaust system for any loose or damaged parts. A rattling noise could be caused by a loose exhaust pipe or muffler.

If you recently hit a pothole or curb, it's possible that you have a damaged suspension component causing the rattling noise. Have it inspected by a mechanic to be sure.
