Why is my Ford Galaxy engine overheating?

I've had my Ford Galaxy for a few years now and it's been running great. But recently, I noticed that the engine has been overheating, especially when I'm stuck in traffic. I've checked the coolant level and it seems to be fine. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Hi Tom, first of all, I would recommend checking the radiator and the radiator fan. The radiator could be clogged and not allowing proper air flow, while the fan may not be functioning properly. If those are all fine, then it could be an issue with the thermostat or water pump. It's best to have a professional mechanic take a look and diagnose the issue.

Hey Tom, I had a similar issue with my Ford Galaxy and it turned out to be a faulty temperature sensor. It was giving false readings and causing the engine to overheat. A simple replacement fixed the problem. Definitely something worth checking.
