Why is my Ford Kuga stalling when I accelerate?

I have a 2016 Ford Kuga and recently it has been stalling when I try to accelerate. It seems to happen randomly and can be quite dangerous. What could be causing this issue and what steps should I take to fix it?

It's possible that your Ford Kuga's fuel filter is clogged, causing a lack of fuel pressure when accelerating. I would suggest having it replaced to see if that fixes the issue.

Another potential cause could be a faulty throttle position sensor. This sensor helps control the fuel-air mixture in your engine and if it's not working properly, it can cause stalling. I would recommend getting it checked and replaced if necessary.

One simple solution you can try is to clean your Ford Kuga's mass air flow sensor. Over time, this sensor can become dirty and affect the air-fuel mixture, causing stalling. You can use a mass air flow cleaner to clean it and see if that helps.
