Why is my Ford Ranger making a tapping noise while accelerating?

I recently noticed a tapping noise coming from my Ford Ranger when I accelerate, but it goes away once I reach a certain speed. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It could be an issue with your engine valves or lifters. I recommend taking it to a mechanic for a check-up and potentially getting them replaced if needed.

Make sure to check your oil levels and change it if needed. Low oil can cause tapping noises in the engine.

I had a similar issue with my Ranger. It turned out to be a loose exhaust pipe. Have a look under your truck and see if that's the case.
