I recently bought a Ford Fiesta and some friends recommended installing an aftermarket air filter for improved performance. However, I'm not sure if it's necessary or just a waste of money. Can anyone give me some advice on whether or not to install one?
ReplyHi Samantha! As a car enthusiast and Ford owner, I can tell you that aftermarket air filters are not necessary for your Ford Fiesta. The stock air filter is designed to work perfectly with the engine and changing it may not result in any noticeable improvements.
Hi Samantha, my name is David and I've been working in a car dealership for over 10 years. In my opinion, aftermarket air filters can sometimes even decrease engine performance and damage your car in the long run. Stick with the stock filter and save your money.
Hey Samantha! I have a Ford Fiesta myself and I've experimented with different air filters. In my experience, aftermarket air filters do make a slight difference in performance, however, it's not worth the extra cost and hassle of constantly replacing them. Stick with the stock filter and you'll be just fine.
