How do I change the tire on my Ford Focus?

I was driving my Ford Focus and suddenly got a flat tire. I have never changed a tire before and I'm not sure what to do. Can someone guide me through the process step by step?

First, make sure that your car is parked in a safe location and the emergency brake is on. Then, locate the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench in your trunk.

Next, use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire. Don't remove them completely yet.

Place the jack under the frame of your car and raise the car until the flat tire is a few inches off the ground.

Now, remove the lug nuts completely and remove the flat tire. Replace it with the spare tire and tighten the lug nuts.
