Hi Samantha, to check if your battery is properly charged, you can use a multimeter. First, make sure the car is turned off and all the lights and accessories are off. Then, connect the multimeter's positive red lead to the positive battery terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal. The multimeter should display a voltage measurement. If it's below 12.4 volts, your battery might be weak and in need of charging.

Hello Samantha, another way to check if your battery is charged is to start the car and turn on the headlights. If they appear dim or flicker, it could be a sign that your battery is not fully charged. Additionally, a sulfur or rotten egg smell near the battery could indicate overcharging. In that case, it's best to get your car checked by a professional mechanic.

Hi Samantha, a simple visual check can also give you an idea about your battery's condition. Check if there are any signs of corrosion or buildup on the battery terminals. If you see any, you can clean them with a mixture of water and baking soda. Additionally, make sure the battery cables are securely connected to the terminals.
