How do I properly change the oil in a Ford Fiesta?

I recently bought a used Ford Fiesta and want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. How often should I change the oil and what type of oil should I use? Is there any specific process I should follow when changing the oil?

As a fellow Ford owner, I recommend changing the oil every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. You should also use a synthetic blend oil for best results. When changing the oil, make sure you have the proper tools and a catch pan to avoid spills. It's also a good idea to consult your owner's manual for specific instructions.

I've been a mechanic for over 10 years and have worked on plenty of Ford Fiestas. I suggest using full synthetic oil and changing it every 7,500 miles. When changing the oil, make sure to also replace the oil filter to ensure optimal performance. And don't forget to properly dispose of the old oil!

I've been driving a Ford Fiesta for years and have never had any issues. I change the oil every 10,000 miles and use conventional oil, but always check with your owner's manual to see what is recommended for your specific model. And remember to let your engine cool down before changing the oil to avoid any burns.
