How do I properly maintain my Ford Kuga's engine?

I have recently purchased a Ford Kuga and I want to make sure I am taking the necessary steps to maintain its engine. Can anyone provide tips on what type of oil to use, how often to change the oil, and any other maintenance recommendations? Thanks!

Hi Emily, congrats on your new Ford Kuga! As a general rule, it's recommended to change your engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. However, if you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic or harsh conditions, it's best to change it every 3,000 miles. For oil type, make sure to use a synthetic blend or full synthetic oil for optimal performance. Also, be sure to check your owner's manual for specific recommendations for your vehicle.

Hey Emily, another important factor in maintaining your engine is regularly checking and replacing your air filter. A dirty air filter can restrict air flow and decrease engine performance. It's recommended to check and replace your air filter every 15,000 miles.
