How often should I change the spark plugs in my Ford Fiesta?

I just got my first Ford Fiesta and I am wondering about the maintenance schedule for its spark plugs. Should I follow the manufacturer's recommendation or is there a better way to determine when they need to be replaced?

It is recommended to change your spark plugs every 30,000 miles or every 3 years, whichever comes first. However, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on them and replace them earlier if you notice any issues such as misfires or difficulty starting the engine.

I always change my spark plugs every 20,000 miles just to be on the safe side. It's a small cost for peace of mind and ensures optimal engine performance.

If you notice a decrease in fuel efficiency or your engine is running rough, it may be time to change your spark plugs. Trust your instincts and don't hesitate to change them sooner rather than later.
