How often should I get an oil change on my Ford Kuga?

I just purchased a Ford Kuga and I'm wondering how often I should get an oil change for optimal performance and longevity. I've heard different things from different people, so I'm not sure what the best answer is. Any advice is appreciated!

It's recommended to get an oil change every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. This will ensure that your engine stays clean and well-lubricated. However, if you frequently drive in extreme conditions or have a lot of stop-and-go traffic, it's best to get an oil change more often.

I recommend getting your oil changed every 3,000 miles. It's better to err on the side of caution and keep your engine well-oiled. Plus, it's relatively inexpensive and will save you from potential engine damage down the line.

I have owned multiple Ford cars and have always followed the recommended oil change interval of 5,000 miles. Just make sure to use high-quality oil and filters to keep your engine running smoothly.
