How to troubleshoot engine knocking noise in Ford Kuga?

I recently purchased a Ford Kuga and noticed a loud knocking noise coming from the engine. It only occurs when the engine is idling or when accelerating. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by a variety of issues such as worn out spark plugs or engine misfiring. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic to properly diagnose and fix the problem.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Kuga and it turned out to be a faulty fuel injector. I had it replaced and the knocking noise disappeared. You should have a professional look into this possibility.

Make sure to check your oil levels as low oil can also cause engine knocking. If there is a low oil level, top it up and see if the noise goes away.
