What are the recommended oil change intervals for a Ford Fiesta?

I recently purchased a Ford Fiesta and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. What are the recommended oil change intervals for this model? Is it different for newer vs older models? Any specific brand or type of oil I should use?

Based on your mileage and driving habits, the recommended oil change interval for a Ford Fiesta is every 5,000-7,500 miles. This stays the same for both newer and older models. However, if you frequently engage in stop-and-go traffic or strenuous driving conditions, you may want to change your oil more frequently, around every 3,000 miles.

I personally recommend using a synthetic blend or full synthetic oil for your Ford Fiesta. This will provide better protection and performance for your engine.

In general, it's best to use the oil recommended by the manufacturer. For Ford, this would be their Motorcraft oil. However, if you prefer a different brand, just make sure it meets the API certification and viscosity requirements for your Fiesta.
