I recently bought a used Ford S-Max and I'm not sure what type of oil to use. Can I use synthetic or conventional? Also, how often should I change the oil?
ReplyFor your Ford S-Max, it is recommended to use synthetic oil for optimal performance and engine protection. As for oil changes, it is best to follow the recommended schedule in your owner's manual, typically every 5,000 to 7,500 miles.
I personally use conventional oil in my Ford S-Max, and haven't had any issues. However, if you want to go with synthetic for peace of mind, it can't hurt. And as for oil changes, it's always a good idea to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
