How to properly check the transmission fluid in a Ford Puma?

I recently got a new Ford Puma and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. How do I check the transmission fluid in my car and what should I do if it is low?

To check the transmission fluid in a Ford Puma, begin by locating the transmission dipstick. It is usually labeled and has a red or yellow handle.
