Why does my Ford Ranger's engine hesitate at high speeds?

I've noticed that when driving on the highway at high speeds, my Ford Ranger's engine seems to hesitate and struggle. I'm wondering if this is a common issue and if there is anything I can do to fix it?

Hi Sofia, this could be due to several reasons such as a dirty air filter, faulty fuel injectors, or even a clogged fuel filter. It is always recommended to get your vehicle checked by a mechanic to determine the exact cause and get it fixed.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Ranger last year. After getting it checked, turns out it was a problem with the spark plugs. My mechanic replaced them and now the engine runs smoothly at high speeds. So, I would suggest getting your spark plugs checked as well.

I've been driving a Ford Ranger for years now and haven't experienced any hesitation at high speeds. Make sure you are using the recommended grade of fuel and keeping up with regular maintenance such as oil changes and tune-ups.
