Why is my Ford Ranger's transmission overheating?

I have a 2019 Ford Ranger and recently, my transmission has been overheating on long drives or when under heavy load. I've checked the fluids and everything seems fine. What could be causing this issue and how can I prevent it?

Your transmission may be overheating due to a faulty thermostat or a clogged transmission cooler. It's best to take your truck to a certified mechanic for an inspection and repair.

You may be overloading your truck, causing the transmission to work harder and overheat. Make sure to check the weight of your cargo and tow within the weight limit recommended by Ford.

Are you using a lower gear when driving uphill or hauling heavy loads? Shifting to a lower gear can help reduce the strain on your transmission and prevent overheating.
