Hi Jessica, the traction control light turning on and off could be indicating an issue with the system itself or a problem with one of the sensors. It's best to have a mechanic check it out to properly diagnose the issue and make any necessary repairs.

Hey Jessica, make sure to check your tires and see if they need to be replaced. Worn tires can cause the traction control light to turn on. If the tires are in good condition, then it's best to have a professional check it out.

Jessica, have you recently had any repairs or maintenance done on your Ford Ranger? Sometimes, after certain repairs, the traction control system may need to be recalibrated. It's best to take it back to the mechanic who performed the work and have them check it.
