Why is my Ford EcoSport making a strange clicking noise when I accelerate?

I recently purchased a Ford EcoSport and have noticed that it makes a clicking noise when I accelerate. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but I'm wondering if there could be an underlying issue causing this noise. Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice?

I had a similar issue with my EcoSport and it turned out to be a loose heat shield. My mechanic was able to fix it easily and the noise went away. Definitely get it checked out!

The clicking noise could also be caused by worn out CV joints. My advice would be to have the front CV joints checked and replaced if necessary.
