What is the most reliable engine option for the Ford Ranger?

I am considering purchasing a Ford Ranger and am unsure which engine option would be the most reliable for long-term use. Does anyone have personal experience or know of any resources that could help me make a decision?

In my experience, the 2.3L EcoBoost engine has been the most reliable for me. It has great power and fuel efficiency.

I've heard good things about the 2.7L V6 engine. It has a bit more power than the 2.3L EcoBoost but is still reliable.

Stay away from the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. I've had nothing but problems with it and have had to make multiple visits to the mechanic.
