What type of oil should I use in my Ford Ranger's engine?

I just bought a used Ford Ranger and I'm not sure what kind of oil to use in the engine. I don't want to damage it by using the wrong type. Can anyone give me some advice?

For your Ford Ranger, you should use a high-quality synthetic oil such as Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge. These oils provide better protection and performance for your engine compared to conventional oils.

I recommend using a synthetic blend oil for your Ford Ranger. It's a good balance between performance and affordability. Just make sure to check the owner's manual for the specific viscosity rating recommended for your model.

You should change your oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. This will ensure your engine stays well lubricated and performs at its best.
