Why does my Ford Fiesta have a rough idle?

I have recently noticed that my Ford Fiesta has a rough idle when I start the engine. It shakes and sputters for a few seconds before smoothing out. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It is likely that your spark plugs need to be replaced. Over time, they can become worn and dirty, leading to a rough idle. I recommend scheduling a tune-up for your Fiesta to have the spark plugs checked and replaced if necessary.

Another possible cause could be a dirty fuel filter. If it becomes clogged, it can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine, resulting in a rough idle. Have the fuel filter checked and replaced if needed.

It could also be an issue with the ignition coils. These are responsible for transmitting the spark from the ignition to the spark plugs. If they are faulty, it can cause a rough idle. Have a mechanic inspect the ignition coils to see if they need to be replaced.
