Why does my Ford Focus engine make a strange noise?

I have a 2015 Ford Focus and recently I've noticed a strange noise coming from the engine. It seems to happen when I accelerate and also when the car is idling. Does anyone know what could be causing this and if it's something serious? I don't want to ignore it and end up with a major problem later on. Thank you!
